Wildflower Window

 

Gaze out a window of Neon Rays at this lovely basket of flowers stitched with Pebbly Perle and Soie Cristale Silk. Create a valance using Mill Hill Antique Glass Beads.  One window not enough?  Directions are given for a trio of windows.
Approximate finished size of design is 3 ¼” by 5” for one window, 6 ½” x 5” for two windows and 10” x 5” for three windows.

Intermediate Skill Level

Or Nué is French for “Shaded Gold”.  Gold threads are covered with couching threads which create the design.  Fabulous Chameleon space dyed threads from South Africa are used for the couching which creates a truly unique piece while incorporating the traditional Carolina Lily quilt pattern. Another great design for using your stash of threads!

This diminutive design is a delightfully fun piece to stitch.  Chameleon space dyed threads from South Africa, and silk ribbon embroidery are combined with gold metallics.   They’re small enough to make several for Mother’s Day.  Change the colors and create some Christmas ornaments.  They’re also great for using all your stash threads!

Mounds of snow swirl across a mountain filled with evergreens.   “Fuzzy Stuff” is the perfect thread for the snow.  Metallic ribbon and blending filament give just enough icy sparkle.
